Date Posted: 17:14:34 06/02/06 Fri In reply to: Ms Janet Willaims 's message, "nice person to trust" on 10:48:06 08/23/05 Tue Hi! I am a citizen of Singapore! I sincerely hope that someone in London, who handles DIPLOMATIC COURIER could advise me. I was contacted by email recently by a Mr Hans Anderson who claimed that he is from a Diplomatic Courier company in London and that there is a DIPLOMATIC LUGGAGE to be delivered to me for which I need to pay US$3,865.00 for the handling fee. Now this DIPLOMATIC LUGGAGE was supposed to be sent by my business associate in London (regrettably he did not inform me prior to the sending); and when I enquired about the LUGGAGE with Mr Hans Anderson, he mentioned that it has arrived in Bangkok, Thailand. I stressed to Mr Anderson that there is no reason for my business associate to send the LUGGAGE to Bangkok; knowing very well that I am a citizen of Singapore and I am residing in Singapore. I informed Mr Anderson that he needs to clarify with his London office what was the proper instructions. Furthermore, I told Mr Anderson that to the best of my knowledge, my London business associate would have taken care of of all the expenses and that I am just to collect the LUGGAGE when it arrives in Singapore. Now, Mr Anderson did not appear to understand what I said and to compound the issue, he said that it will cost me another US$500.00 to transfer the LUGGAGE to Singapore; not forgetting that there will be daily rentals to be added on. I am now in a dilemma! Mr Anderson has the cheeks to inform me that I may not the person who is to collect the LUGGAGE and indicated that he will commend to his boss to have the DIPLOMATIC LUGGAGE to be returned to London. Could any one who has the knowledge of such matters to please advise me what I should do? Sadly, my London business associate seems to have gone missing as there was no reply from him at all since he notified that he will arrange to send me a DIPLOMATIC LUGGAGE in mid-April 2006. Thank you very much for your guidance in this matter. I will NEVER FORGET YOUR KIND DEED! Cheers! Best personal regards Peter L S Sek [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
