It is not always necessary to CLOSE (not"delete") other programs that are running, especially if you have plenty of RAM memory on your machine. The thing to do is to try to load the new program without closing anything, and see if it works. If you have a problem, then you can close programs using Ctrl-Alt-Del and close one program at a time.

Remember - NEVER close these two essential programs: EXPLORER and SYSCTRL. There is available a utility that will close all running programs at once, but I do not have the name of it. Besides, I prefer to close programs one at a time, since it gives me more control over what I am doing.
