War Games was one of the most brutal matches in WCW. Two rings, side by side, were enclosed by a steel cage. The steel cage had a roof, so once you were in the cage, there was no escape. Two wrestlers started the match and after a predetermined amount of time, another would enter. A coin toss was held before each match to determine which team would send in another team member first. This match was reserved to settle only the most bitter rivalries as were most gimmick matches. Today many promotions use gimmick matches for the wrong reasons.
