Watched three summer league games last night. Saw most of the Rider team play. Their are six teams in the league, Rider had players or former players on 5 of the 6 teams. Greg Grant coaches one of the teams. There are a number of d-1 players (current and former) and some d-2 and 3 players. Game one Aaron White played well grabbing alot of rebounds and led all scorers with 24. Former Rider point guard Deion Hames still is fast. White's team won the game. Game two had Mouton, L. Johnson and Dingle(red team) against Warner, Mansell and Pierce( blue team) Mouton played great led all with 32 and mad a few 28 footers with Greg Grant talking smack to him from the sidelines, Lamar Johnson added 25 for red as they won by 3. Harris Mansell and Rodney Pierce showed up late and blue was down by 10 they brought blue back to tie the game but couldn't pull off the win. Final game had Mike Scott RJ Wicks B. Anderson and Vosilla on the black team and no Rider players on the white team. Black won by 15 Mike Scott led all scorers with 16. Vosilla is huge a good rebounder and nice touch around the hoop. Anderson is a very good athlete. Vosilla injured his ankle and did not play much. Was great to watch the the team play and see some old friends. Rider has done well recruiting this class and the team will be exciting to watch this year.
