Subject: Movie Monday! What did you see this weekend? I saw

Crazy, Rich Asians. It was such a cute Rom-Com with the beautiful Singapore as the backdrop. The cast is full of actors from popular TV series (Constance Wu, Gemma Chan, Harry Shum, Jr., Jimmy O. Yang, etc.) and the always amazing Michelle Yeoh. It was a bit derivative story-wise, but still a very uplifting, fun film.

It's the true story of the capture of Adolph Eichmann, in 1960 in Buenos Aires. There was some action scenes with scary moments, but mostly it was a psychological drama about a Nazi master-mind and his Jewish captors. The film was well done and made me look up some history facts when I got home.

[> I watched some shows I dvr'd. Yellowstone which I ended up liking, so I am glad it is coming back in 2019. -- Belinda, 09:58:58 09/04/18 Tue [1]

I watched the last Walking Dead and Game of Thrones episode from last season. So my dvr is now like down to 6%! yipee.

Still have Dunkirk to watch so maybe this weekend.

He is so hard on his kids - awful - but he does love his grandson. To be fair, most of the characters are some kinda flawed mess. But it's entertaining.

That Kelly Reily drives me nuts with her hair. I hate that long bang. She needs to grow it out. Its all over her eyes.

I told my mom to watch it. It has violence and is kinda bad but I liked it! LOL

which was creepy weird but good. I hate all the quick cut stuff because I just don't process visual things fast enough and it frustrates me plus so many scenes were very dimly lit so i could not see those well either lol.

I have yo say I had suspected the killer was who it turned out to be about halfway through but that did not really ruin things. I do wonder though if Adora figured it out in the end or was she just too far gone to see beyond her own stuff. Did she make the big sacrifice for the murders or just for the MBP stuff? And did the Dad know what Adora was REALLY doing or was he just so blind he did not see what her "natural remedies" did? What do you all think?

gillian Flynn writes some really twisted stuff and I am not sure that at the end of the day it is really my cup of tea but I think SO was well done if a bit long. I think they probably could have had a tighter show if they had done 6 episodes.

sometimes to get a better look. I always suspected the killer would be female. I didn't expect it to necessarily be a group. The overriding theme of the effects of a patriarchal town on the women who live in it kind of made it clear that it would be a female doing all the bad deeds, including the death of Camille's sister. The town celebrates rape in the re-enactment at the Calhoun festival and it is apparently acceptable there for boys to rape cheerleaders. The women act out in vicious, and even lethal ways. I do think Dad knew a lot about the poisoning and kept quiet, losing himself in his headphones. He and the sheriff took a girls will be girls attitude to it all. I thought it was very well done and the acting was superb. I liked the length of it as it was pretty much the only summer show I actually looked forward to and I was bummed when it ended. I do like the dark, twisted, creepy stories though LOL!
