Subject: Movie Monday! What did you see this weekend? I

didn't see any movies. We have been spending the remaining hot days of summer in the pool. But hey, House of the Dragon is becoming something to look forward to every Sunday. I have a feeling our dragon-riding princess should keep an eye on her (probably former) best friend. All that child marriage stuff was creeping me out, but the dragon egg stealing uncle and his new ally should be an interesting story going forward. It will likely involve some battle scenes with...crabs?

I'll chime in on HoD when I've watched it tonight. I started watching Leonardo on the CW, starring Aiden Turner (Poldark) Good so far, but I'm into anything artist related.

I think it was better than Ep 1, with more depth into the character's stories. What strikes me as lacking is a "Tyrion Lannister" character who ties everyone together, brings humor and humanity to the whole story. The writers need to make us care about someone, which is hard to do with such a bunch of cold fish. I'm hooked on the struggle for power story, and look forward to the inevitable dance of dragons.

backstabby, just the way I like it LOL! Daemon is a bit bloodthirsty, but I kind of like him. His whore girlfriend reminds me of the one Tyrion had (and killed.) Women just never catch a break in these things.

the dragons on HoD have saddles to help the riders stay on. In GoT, no one suggested Danerys or Jon get a saddle made. I always thought there was NO WAY anybody could just hang on to those spine-y creatures!
