Subject: Movie Monday! What did you see this weekend? I

am out of town for the weekend and our hotel room is on Dish with questionable reception LOL! We did watch some older movies: Beetlejuice, and Daddy's Home 2. Beetlejuice is a favorite I could watch over and over. Daddy's Home 2, not so much. But we also caught most of the Howard Stern interview with Bruce Springsteen, which was really good.

Thirteen, the story of the boys soccer team rescued from the flooded cave. Viggo Mortensen & Colin Ferrell starred as the Australian heroes.
All Quiet on the Western Front, remake of a classic novel. Really good, such a beautiful anti-war statement, told from the pov of the German soldiers.

Funny story about hotel tv, when we were in Paris the tv had 1 channel in English. Every day they showed The Patriot with Mel Gibson! Every day LOL.

Sad, but yikes, how much can really be said? Apparently a lot.
