Subject: Movie Monday! What did you see this weekend? I

didn't see any movies. Just Olympics and a few other shows. Anyone watching The White Lotus on HBO? It's quite quirky.

[> Watched Hampstead on Netflix, a romcomdrama starring Diane Keaton -- skw123, 23:59:17 08/01/21 Sun [1]

I always like Keaton, and she is good as an American widow in London who saves, then falls for Brandon Gleeson as Harry the Hermit, an Irish man living in a shack in Hampstead Heath park. The story of Harry is true - a guy literally builds a big shack in the park and lives there for almost 20 years. By the time the snobs want to oust him, the courts find for him and he eventually sells the property back for several million.
Other than basketball, men and women, I'm bored with the Olympics coverage. Way too much beach volleyball and not enough other sports.

diving, rowing, kayaking. They don't show enough of those, though I did catch some rowing and kayaking. I had to find them on the other NBC channels. I like all volleyball, indoor and outdoor. I do get a bit tired of the track stuff. So much running LOL!

volleyball & badminton in competition, but I just cannot stomach SO much beach volleyball every time I turn on the tv. I love watching the equestrian events too.

equestrian. I went to one of those events at the '84 games (yes, I'm old) and a soccer match between Brazil and France!
