Subject: Movie Monday! What did you see this weekend? I

didn't watch any movies, but I saw that Freeform was playing some Halloween-themed movies of the non-slasher variety, including one of my all-time favorites: Beetlejuice. So I recorded that for future viewing. AMC is running some scary films all month, like the original Halloween. So I will likely catch a couple here and there.

Starring Lena Olin as the wife of a famous artist, played by Bruce Dern. The old artist is suffering from dementia, but needs to prepare for a major show of new works, which he has promised he can still do. He is emotionally abusive to his wife, also an artist, who gave up her career to support his. She wants the show to be a success and to reunite him with his estranged daughter. Good movie, very emotional star turns by these great actors.
