Subject: Movie Monday! What did you see this weekend? I

was out of town for a couple of days and had limited TV, but managed to watch a couple of old-ish movies, including one of my faves from the 80s, Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Alan Ruck always cracks me up in that. I recorded my Sunday shows so I'll have to get caught up when I get home Monday.

Starring Eddie Redmayne and Sasha Baron Cohen, film is based on the infamous 1969 trial of seven defendants charged by the federal government with conspiracy and more, arising from the countercultural protests in Chicago at the 1968 DNC. I was 15 at the time, and remember well the fascination with the trial. Politics was crazy then... as now!
