Subject: We watched a good movie over the weekend, Hillbilly Elegy.

I was hesitant at first, because I thought it would be too depressing, but it wasn't. Amy Adams is awesome as the mom of two kids, whose lives we follow as they try to leave behind the effects of poverty, mental illness and abuse. Tho the family left Kentucky for Ohio, the "hillbilly" stigma persists. Glenn Close starts as the grandmother, who holds everyone together. She is amazing as usual.

Very good movie, my granddaughter recommended it. Has anyone watched Animal Kingdom Series??? I enjoyed that, it's about a crime family.
