Subject: Movie Monday! What did you see this weekend? I saw

Let Him Go, film that was released in theaters and OnDemand simultaneously. It's drama starring Kevin Kostner, Diane Lane and Lesley Manville. It's a drama about grandparents (Kostner and Lane) seeking their dead son's boy after their daughter-in-law remarried and ran off to be with the abusive husband's creepy as hell family. It was good, but the ending wasn't to my liking. I wanted to see it as a fan of Diane Lane and she was awesome.

Madame, a hysterical rom-com starring Toni Collette as a snobby American in Paris, married to goofy Harvey Kietel. They throw a dinner party to impress their French art world friends, and make their maid stand in as a mysterious guest. Crazy hijinks ensue when the art appraiser falls for her.
I also loved a 2018 version of Vanity Fair on Prime. Updated music makes it fun.

[> [> Toni Collette is so good. I need to search for more movies on Prime. I have been concentrating -- LAwoman, 10:26:35 01/25/21 Mon [1]

on series like Mrs. Maisel, etc. Once I get caught up on all those, I'll explore the movies more.
