Subject: Movie Monday! What did you see this weekend? I

didn't see any movies this weekend. We are still catching up on season 3 of Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. We are terrible TV bingers. My other half loves the show too so it's hard to schedule viewing an episode together. Usually, he doesn't like my shows LOL!

On PBS, The Long Song, a 3 ep BBC series from 2018 based on a best selling novel. It's the story of the lives of whites and blacks on a sugar cane plantation in Jamaica in the 1830s, in the last days of slavery. When Queen Victoria abolishes slavery, everyone's lives end up in turmoil, futures uncertain. Very well done series.

HBOMax is offering The Knick, which was a Cinemax series from a few years back. I had always wanted to see it. It's about the goings on in a early 20th century hospital in New York. It was directed by Steven Soderbergh. I may see if I can find time to binge that when I'm done with Maisel.
