Oscar-nominated film Minari. It was really good, if you don't mind a rather slow-moving family drama. It stars Steven Yeun (Walking Dead) as a Korean husband and father who moves his family from California to Arkansas to start a farm on cheap land that failed for the former owner. Eventually, to keep his wife from leaving, he relents to having his mother-in-law move in with them. She's the star of the film for me (and the actress won a SAG award) as well as the cute little son (won a Critics Choice Award.) The whole cast was great.

Minari sounds good. I want to see The Father, also plan to watch the PBS Ken Burns special series on Hemingway.

big Bruins fan (I actually like Gonzaga too) and it was excruciating. But UCLA basketball is back baby! After a long drought, they finally have the right coach for the job and this showing will go a long way in recruitment efforts.
I want to see The Father too. I love Olivia Colman.
