Subject: Sad news, John Callahan (Edmund Grey) passed away. Here is a post from Walt Willey

All My Children has lost another of its finest and I have lost a friend.
John Callahan (AMC's "Edmund Grey") left this world today after a stroke.

John's dressing room and mine were in the same hall at TV23 and we spent many hours together talking and singing, laughing and bitching. When those blue eyes began to twinkle you just knew he was up to something. He will be missed.

Please send your thoughts and prayers to Eva LaRue and their daughter Kaya.

Here's one of his favorite Irish poems:

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there… I do not sleep.
I am the thousand winds that blow…
I am the diamond glints on snow…
I am the sunlight on ripened grain…
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you waken in the morning’s hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of gentle birds in circling flight…
I am the soft star that shines at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry—
I am not there… I did not die.

Sleep well, my brother.

I loved him as Edmund. My heart goes out to his family.
