Subject: Movie Monday! What did you see this weekend? I

didn't see any movies, but I'm so missing sports that I watched a lot of the NBA2K competition on ESPN2. It has a bracket of NBA players in their own homes playing one on one with the NBA2K game. Winners advance to the next round. Sounds boring, right? But the video has the game and intercuts with the players playing the game and their commentary, which can be pretty funny. It's as close to a real game as there will be for quite some time so I'm hooked.

We liked it. It's not really a typical, linear story, kind of an art film. Lots of Elton's music, concerts, outfits and more sadness than anyone should have to live thru. Of course, we know that Elton ended up with the happy ending, living the dream.
