Subject: Movie Monday! What did you see this weekend? I

didn't see any movies this time around. I had a few shows stored up on the DVR to watch. But I have a couple of movies in mind that I think are available OnDemand.

Little Women was hard to watch. I don't know the story, never read the book or seen any other versions, so I was lost. The director assumed we already knew the story and characters very well, so she felt free to skip between past and present over and over, from the start to finish. I had to put the film on hold and read a detailed explanation of the whole thing. It was a hot mess and I didn't like it. Great costumes, scenery and excellent acting tho.

some really good versions, including a fairly recent one on Masterpiece Theater, that was more adherent to the book.
