once again didn't catch any movies this weekend. The time sort of flew by and I never got around to it.

I don't even know what to say... horrifying, too-realistic, like watching a train wreck?, I don't know. Later, I googled the staircase in NYC in the Bronx, and it's actually now called the Joker stairs! wow. Joaquin Phoenix deserved the Oscar, but this is not a movie I'd ever re-watch.

such a brilliant idea to take an iconic comic book character and put him in the gritty realism of mental health issues, especially among the low income population. Heath Ledger's previous astounding portrayal kind of led to this version. The Joker had previously been portrayed as more cartoonish.
