Subject: Movie Monday! What did you see this weekend? I

was stuck inside all weekend because of the heavy smoke and ash from the fires. I thought about finding a movie, but ended up watching mostly sports as I just wasn't finding any movies that suited my mood. I did record the new PBS series Van der Valk that takes place in one of my favorite cities, Amsterdam. I haven't watched it yet. Did anyone see it? Is it worthwhile?

Capone is a 2020 film on Netflix, focused on the last year in the life of Al Capone. He's been released from prison to live out his last days at home, dying of syphilus, his brain addled and confused. Everyone is trying to get him to remember where he buried $100 mil on the property. This movie was SO BAD we turned it off after 20 min.
Good basketball this week tho.
