Subject: Movie Monday! What did you see this weekend? I saw

Sound of Metal starring Riz Ahmed. Both film and actor are nominated for Academy Awards. It's about a hard rock drummer who is a recovering addict that becomes deaf. He has an uphill battle navigating his new deafness as an addict and not being able to be part of an upcoming tour with his bandmate/girlfriend. Ahmed is absolutely great in this role.

This 2019 Woody Allen film has an all star cast, Timothe Chalamet, Elle Fanning, Liev Schriber, Jude Law, etc. A young college couple spend a weekend in Manhattan where she is interviewing a filmmaker and he visits family. Hilarity ensues. This was on Prime video.
