pitching batting practice with that steep decline in velocity that is just getting worse. He's not going to suddenly be good. He's going to just keep declining. Another dumb move by the increasingly inept Dodgers management. They should be spending that salary on developing promising young pitchers like Buehler and Urias and their minor league farm system. Instead they are paying Kershaw for his past, not his present and future. He'll be a financial albatross that will hinder the Dodgers' ability in acquiring talent. They'll probably go out an re-acquire Yu Darvish just to put a cherry on this mess.
