Hello Brigitte. I just wanted to add that my 2 year old colt is on Strategy as well and he's never had a problem. Although he's never had a weight issue I am a strong believer in this feed. Every barn I've been at (and that's only 3) has fed strategy because of its versatility. You can feed it to pregant nursing mares, babies, breeding stallions and your everyday horse. I just wanted to drop a line and say I think you're making a wise choice. Good luck!!
