WOW, I am so glad you published this article.....I myself was kicking around the idea of going to the 25th annivesary in Reno, NV for the Friesian horse in america, but could not support it in good fatih, in fear of disappoitment of how the horses were being tained and treated, especially since they are in it for the $$. I have seen some of this stuff and it makes me sick. I have a young gelding who I just started this year, he is 4. He has lived out 24/7 and allowed to be a horse. He would do anything for me, I sware.......He is so bonded I actually think he may protect me in a threatening situation. He is happy and curious of EVERYTHING, has never bucked, reared, bolted, kicked.....nothing, he trusts everything I ask of him. So, yes it does take place hopefully in time as things are changing, this too will end.
