That's all I needed to hear. I'm not surprised Wicher coliced. He would always choke on his food, especially the alphalpha, so his personal habits would give him a higher chance of colic.

Poor Bonne. I remember one morning he got away from his trainer in the orchards next door and he had a grand time running a muck. That was the same morning that a mare had foaled. So when I got to the farm later in the morning it was like a whirlwind had blown through. Bonne had been caught and was bucking up a storm in the arena (just because he was so worked up - no one was trying to handle him.) The feed cart was abandoned halfway down mare lane, there was a placenta in the breezeway of the barn. I can remember thinking, Holy Crap!

I will always remember those horses fondly.
Thank you again.
Jennie
