Glad I'm not the only one with a spooky one !
I too always thought Friesians were supposed to be bomproof (they lied !)
I love my boy dearly but he is hard work, not the quiet hack I thought I had bought.
I have gone back to basics with him, long-reining , lunging and he has started to listen to me once again.
There is nothing nasty about him, he just dosn't know his own strenght, so just a little spook whilst leading him can knock you off your feet, while he just stands there looking at me as if to say "Did I do that mum ?"
We will get there in the end, but it is taking more time than I thought. He is rising 5, so still a baby really, but I did have visions of hacking him out by now. Still no rush.
