As I mentioned on another post …I did some research and couldn’t find anything specific or links even through the American Driving Association or via other Associations.

Not knowing the show’s attire rules, it is difficult to recommend proper attire and plus I have not shown in a Meadowbrook cart before. You may want to contact the show’s governing Association to inquire or look at photos.

In my driving classes, under a Saddlebred show-pleasure driving class, my attire has been gauchos, tailored blouse, and a sequined jacket. No apron or gloves required. I prefer gauchos since I can get in/out of a pleasure cart easily without hiking up a shirt/dress. The gauchos give the appearance of a long skirt and are classy with a pair of tall boots. The gauchos might be appropriate for a Meadowbrook cart but I don’t know. Also, you may need an apron and gloves but again I don’t know. Looking at photos, checking the proper show attire, and asking your trainer might be your best bet.

What I can share is that for my driving classes I purchase hats through http://www.villagehatshop.com/, the sequined gowns/jackets from http://www.cybernetplaza.com/sequined-formal-dresses.asp, and the gaucho from http://www.rods.com/ProductSummary.aspx?free_text|6/29/2011 1:09:11 PM=gaucho&deptId=0. The sequined dresses/jackets are absolutely beautiful and well priced. Please check them out and let me know your thoughts. If you find something that is appropriate please share.
