Subject: bit for keuring

I'm completely spamming the forum now it seems, and it will only get worse the closer I get to our keuring, but I have a question. I bought what was described as a friesian bit for keuring, and it's really pretty. My only concern is that it has shanks, only little short ones, like the one here called
TRADITIONAL FRIESIAN 'ROSE' BIT GERMAN SILVER.

http://www.usfriesianreferral.com/bits.html

Can I use that in the keuring? Or is it just snaffle type bits? any rules on the subject?
