I also have this problem, although i definately advise against washing the mane that often as the more you mess with it the more your goin to lose. Ive tried lycra hoods and everything but the cheeky monkey gets them off! he recently lose about 7 inches from the bottom of his neck upwards from his turnout rug rubbing it bare! dont let any of the neck sections of rugs get greasy... the grease really increases rubbing of the mane... so gutted, whats this MTG stuff? I, trying to find a good product to use :) x
