Hi Randy:

Thanks! My Friesian is fine now and we have been working since Tuesday very lightly. Today we had our first lesson since the problem and he was so eager to get back to work!

It was either a bad, mis-step or possibly his shoes bothering him (it was the 6th going on 7th week of shoeing).

We had the farrier out who checked everything and re-shod him.

Earlier this week I did some light longe work with him and he was dancing all over the place, really letting go in the indoor with some spectacular bucks (I already reduced his grain by 50% too). Absolutely no sign of pain and no swelling either.

Needless to say, I am not sure how much of it was an act since he gives me a hard time if I don't visit him for 1 day. Cost me a nice vet bill too :)
