Wicher died of colic. Genevieve posted his autopsy photo's on another Friesian list. It wasn't really for the sqeamish. Bonne from what I understand was ruunning in the pasture and struck his head on a low hanging branch on a tree and died then and there. that is what I was heard from Genevieve on the other list. Hope this helps.
