The US flag must to be flown with the stars forward. You always lead with the stars! So...the flag will flow (in the wind) with the direct of travel. If you look on Air Force one, one flag is correct and the opposing flag is reversed. Same as on the uniform, the right shoulder is for the American flag and a combat patch.
