I just came across your blog site today! What a positive light you shine on what's going on in Iraq!! My foster daughter is a Marine and she was deployed in Iraq for 18 months. She would always reassure me that it wasn't "that" bad in Iraq and how pleased she was with what the troops are accomplishing over there. It's good to hear from another soldier the good things about serving in Iraq.

The question that I had was about your Mardi Gras celebration. How did ya'll come about getting all of the beads and decorations? I know that you are from LA...so did your parents send everything or was it donated?

Keep up the AWESOME work ya'll are doing over there! All of the troops are in our prayers and we hope to have all of you home as soon as it's possible!!
