Lainey,

You are doing a great service to your comrades-in-arms and their families by doing this website. It's a great way to communicate between you all serving in Iraq and those back on the homefront. A hundred years ago when I was serving in Vietnam, I remember communicating to my dad at Thanksgiving by writing "Happy Thanksgiving" on a cardboard flap off a C-rations box which contained the word "Turkey".

With this website, you have come a long way, baby, in communicating home.
