As you can see I am boring and just use my real name on here. So for those of you who don't, any stories behind your forum name? How did you choose it and what significance does it have?

Peace
Melanie

Hi Melanie, well my choice of name is not very exciting really! it's my middle name and I believe it has the same meaning as Exodus but I think my mum chose it after the Joni Mitchell album!

my name was (is) that of my faithful soul mate Samuel the springer spaniel. he passed over almost 2 years ago... i still miss him like crazy as he was such a huge part of our family life, he had a huge appetite to destroy any thing in his path!! lol but wasn't that bad!! he had a love of running in the fields, and the long grass,(his pedigree name was glory rambler!! how wonderful is that!!?) he adored my cats and other creatures and although he could be quite destructive at times he would never harm another living soul! (he even used to jump backwards at frogs and toads!!)
anyway, to stop harping on... i thought his name should live on!!
with respect and love

I've been known as 'wolf' for as long as I can remember, unfortunately that name is common on the net so I added the Pagan bit to reflect who and what I am

I chose Pilgrim because that's what I feel I am. I'm just passing through this life, on a spiritual journey.

ello thought id add my 2pence worth in here lol.

jade-wolf this has been a name I have used ohh wow for erm about 10 years now. previously to that it was lily, this is because my real name meals lily.

But.. jade-wolf...
The ancient Chinese culture has revered Jade for centuries. Jade is considered the health, wealth and longevity stone. used also for courage, wisdom, justice, mercy, emotional balance, stamina, love, fidelity, humility, generosity, peace, harmony. Jade is known as androgynous, therefore it is considered having a gentle, steady pulse of healing energy. Jade is found in different colors and can be used on the appropriate Chakra based on its color. Properties common to all colors of Jade include its ability to mellow one's existence. Helps one rid themselves of negative thoughts and energy. Very beneficial to the heart in both physical and spiritual senses. It is a very protective stone and will keep its wearer out of harm's way. Jade bounds us to our earth energies and physical instincts. Jade is a humbling stone.

Wolf.. this was my first and my most steadfast totem animal, for so many reasons. Her ability to be alone and be also part of a pack, her instincts and her protective love of her family. The wolf is a teacher, and so am I (in varying ways) Wolves have stamina and aggression when needed. The represent freedom, and the understanding and responsibilities that come with that freedom. She teaches us strength, confidence, and to listen to our inner voices, our instincts.

so yes.. thats my name and a few of my reasons.

im sure others call me all sorts though hehe.
