All places that felt then, and still feel 'special and sacred'. It would just be a natural place for me I suppose. Rocks, trees, shrubs, water, animals and peace and quiet. Date Posted: 13/07/07 23:37 I have a dream plane, my sacred site. I start on a path very grassy, it's not marked out but a faint trail in the grass with closed in trees. I follow and the path lines up next to a stream, i walk into the stream and then this is my path. I follow the stream (bare foot of course) until i see a clearing to my right. I step out of the stream into the clearing and it is so sunny and warm. I can feel the warmth on my skin. In the clearing there is a large rock here i sit and wait for my guides. I would love to find this place in the waking world, this world be my site. I would love to live with no material ties and only live off what i grew. A place of meditation and contemplations. But also with children running. Completely outside of civilisation and our own home grown life. No politics no "the man lol" to live in harmony This is my Summerland i hope to find this sanctuary in life one day. [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |

Date Posted: 14/07/07 11:45 A plane, gently sloping down to the sea onone side, looking around, you see the hills shrouded in mist, on the highest point a dolmen, I would sit and watch the birds of prey, the wolves and the grass move in the breeze. Date Posted: 15/07/07 18:05 hmmm my sacred site, i think i would have to be greedy and have a few, for calming relaxing purposes, a lovely meadow, spring/summers day, pathway into a little forest, deep in the heart of the forest is a waterfall, which leads into a little stream, there are ruins around, moss covered stones, a circle of stones, its always peaceful, always warm, If i wanted to meditate id like to be up high, on the top of a mountain, or in a temple space on the top of a mountain no walls on the temple just a roof and the ground and pillars holding it up. over looking the ground below. windy, but warm still. those two would be my ideal sacred spaces. although today i have been doing basic defence skills and i ache all over so my sacred space was my bath it was blissssssss [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |
