Hi all,
i got myself a juicer today, it was only £9.99 at Lidl. It seems to work OK. I was wondering if any of you use juicers and if you could recommend any recipes?

mmmmmmmmmmmmm juices and smoothies mmmmmmmmm there are a few favourite recipes in the recipe section here at GG (click on the Recipe button then go to 'drinks') :) delicious!!

If you're looking for a juice and smoothie recipe books I recommend Energy Juices and The Smoothies Bble

and there are plenty of tasty recipes online here :
http://www.thefruitpages.com/fruitjuicerecipes.shtml
http://www.ukjuicers.com/recipes.htm
http://www.hub-uk.com/smoothies/index.htm
http://www.healthrecipes.com/fruit_juice_recipes.htm

Pretty much 'anything goes' is a great way to start - pick your favourite fruits and get juicing! (and then start exploring some veg too) I'm sure you'll discover plenty of delicious favourites in no time at all!! Enjoy! xxx

Mmmmm, I don't think I can add anything to these lovely recipes! I will say though that if you're not used to it don't worry if juice tastes a bit odd to begin with, a few sips and you will love it, I know I did. I started off by including lots of carrots and beetroot for their pleasant taste, celery and cucumber because they are quite mild, and sweetening it by adding some apples.

Happy juicing!
