Date Posted: 2/08/07 10:26 hello all ive known about kevin carlyon since the 1980s. he used to be based in the sussex area of the uk. in the 1960's when alex sanders started his alexandrian witchcraft tradition some of his followers called him king of the witches.when he died it seems that some of kevin carlyons group thought of him as the successor to alex sanders and there were a article or two in some of the more mundane womens weeklies on kevin being 'the king of the witches'. most of us in the craft took little notice of this - though it wasnt good publicity for the craft, specially when there was an article about these witches doing magic against prince charles cos of some problem with something his highness was doing (or not doing) with his dutchy of cornwall (i dont remember the details now). anyhoo i didnt know ol kevin was still up to calling himself our 'king'. shame really. i thought most people on this path tended to grow and develop spiritually. not stay exactly where they were when they started.
