me again. I know i should prob try and put these in the right part of the website, but oh well. i just wanted to share something that I wrote a few weeks ago now. Not meant to be depressing or anything lol just some thoughts on how sometimes its nice to have silence.

On a desolate beach
By a cliff with tall trees
Sits a girl all alone
No-one there but the breeze
*
She leans on the rock
With her head in her hand
Hair blowing around her
Feet burried in sand
*
The sun moves with ease
Across brilliant blue skies
It reflects crystaline tears
that fall from her eyes
*
Why feel all this sadness
No need really for tears
there are reasons to smile
If she looks back on her years
*
Strong winds encourage her
To take a small peek
She lifts her head slowly
Takes her hands from her cheek
*
The ocean stretches before her
Waves lap on the shore
She is grateful for life
But wants so much more
*
Why does she feel empty
When theres nothing to need
She knows she is loved
Why does her heart bleed
*
This soul wrenching ache
while continually wishing
She could find in her heart
That one thing thats missing
*
You'll find it within
So the experts will say
Until then you continue
to grow lonely each day
*
She stands up and shakes off
the fine golden sand
Dries down her tears
With the back of her hand
*
She walks down to the ocean
And steps into the wave
Water crashes around her
Like an icy cold grave
*
As she stands in the power
Of the ebb and the flow
It is here she feels peace
But knows she must go
*
Nothings ever accomplished
By running away
Our fears always find us
No matter how far we stray
*
But there are times we need peace
calm and quiet interlude
To be alone with your thoughts
and the sea's solitude.

Great. Think many of us have that existential loneliness, that 'what's it all about feeling' - unless you have a very firm and confident faith etc. Which I don't.

My path is more a way of life than knowing what it's all about! :) A just get on with it and learn the best we can from things.

With plenty of music thrown in to the mix of life. I don't like crowds but am off to glasto some reason having been all my life I love em.

Keep forgetting to ask you Jade - does your poem have a title? (for the Library)

ermm god point whitewolf.. "Ocean solitude" I think thats what i called it before lol I cant remember.

I worked at glastonbury 1999, in the circus arena doing escapology events, was great. I dont much like huge crowds but found some cool veggie tents for food, and the chillout zone was cool. i saw david bowie and moby they were cool.

so have a great time Mel, its def one for the memory scrap book lol.
