a beautiful sign of spring on my way to work.... all the lambs with their mums.... all over a huge paddock near the road on my way to work.... i waved to them (and swerved slightly in the wrong direction whilst doing so lol)
it's beautiful.... all the lambs.... white ones, grey ones, black and brown all playing and bounding around.
beautiful.
love

Hi Wildflower,

Well, lots of blossom out on trees and spring flowers. Also seen loads of butterflies - more than usual it seems, bug furry bumblebees .... the birds are busy nesting. Oh yes and lots of lambs, Sam, love them too :) Wonderful to be outside in the warm sunshine at this time of year. I can imagine after the darkness of your winters, wildflower, it must be extra special. And you can look forward to those long, long summer days. I can imagine that Sweden is a wonderful place to be in Spring and summer. It is the one place we really want to visit one day.

Blessings
Rowan x

Signs of Spring?

Yep, council tearing up the roads ready for the summer and the caravans coming home for the summer (cynic that I am) lol

Seriously, Apple trees blossoming, daffodils in bloom, signs are all here, looking forward to a real hot summer.

Blessings

hi there, well signs of spring are all around at the moment but im not at home, im in romania, hmm yeah the power of the internet hey. but i thought id say that i went to some mountains the other day, and went to the TOP, as in up a cable car!! ooohhh high!! and up to my knees in snow!!!! bbbrrrrr but you could tell it was spring becuse i actually got a sunburnt face and the snow was melting in places, it was the most beautiful sight. but apart from that yeah its lovely here too, went for a beautiful walk in the forests and saw signs of spring everywhere, lovely yellow butterflies, and gorgeous little purple flowers everywhere. bucharest is a strange city but i will let ya knw about it when i get back. i have some lovely photos of the mountains maybe i can put them in my out and about hey whitewolf??

hope that everyone is well in here and keeping warm by the fire in the garden in the chilly spring evenings.

I've seen butterflyes, both yellow and brown. But I haven't seen flowers. But I've seen a ladybird.

Ha! I see you have the same approach to driving as I do Sam. The other day I was so busy looking at some woolly lambs boinging in the field at the side of the road I almost drove through the fence and joined them!

I was gardening on Easter day and I sat for ages and watched the birds in their busyness flitting here and there gathering food and nesting material. Lovely. I hope we have some little chicks nearby soon.

the tulips are looking beautiful in our garden and our front ditch in the garden is filled with primroses and forget-me-nots (i think!)
we have been out tidying up the garden in the evenings this week, have seen thousands of woodlice, bumble bees honey bees a wasp of two and quite a few lady birds, the best thing was last weekend the little boys came round (they are 2 and 3 ) and i showed them how to pick daffodils for their mum they picked a nice bunch each for her and the youngest one found a lady bird. picked it up ever so carefully and let it walk all oner his hand, i was suprised that he could be so gentle.... the other springy thingy is frogs and toads, if you live somewhere near water please be careful of them on the roads in damp evenings, when driving... sorry to harp on but they are lovely !!

love sam xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (ribbit)

No it doesn't usually snow this time of year. At least not this much. It's usually what I call yoyo weather. You might get a cold night here and there that puts a few flakes down But not like this. Some airports on the east coast had to shut down due to the snow. Today your sunbeam is comming through. Thank you. :-) It's not expected to get particularly warm but at least theres no snow for now.:-) They say this has been the coldest April since the late 1800's.

YAY!! :) Glad you had a sun-filled day Pilgrim. We have had some really lovely sunny days here and the gardens are doing well - and so many butterflies and bees... (and soon dragons... yippee!!)

Well... despite it being so beautiful outside I have been mostly inside today! But the shop is looking very pretty with freshly painted walls and now I can enjoy decorating it and getting it ready to bloom... so in a way there's signs of spring in the shop too :)
