I have a horrible streaming cold, feel YUCKY and cannot really take time off work..... but

I really appreciate lemons, ginger, honey, my fuzzy blankie, cosy pillows and hot tea more than at any other time!

*BIG SMILE*

you got any reasons (tiny or huge) to add? Let us have a collective smile!

Tasty spicy food when I have a cold makes me feel better...in general though...cosy comfy bed, good book, cold clear frosty mornings, nice hot shower, shooting stars......I'll leave some room for others now..lol.

Hope you feel better soon Zenwind.

Wolfie.

Dear Zenwind

I hope you are feeling a little better now, in fact I hope you are feeling a lot better now.

There are so many things that make me smile:

My daughter going through her teens - its like living with an upredictable volcano and occasionally, I get caught up in all the lava flow!

Little children playing - listening to their words. Sometimes they have words of wisdom which really humbles me.

My parents who are still in love after all these years and have both had their own health problems.

The wind in my face, especially if Im stood on the rocks with the waves bashing into them. The smell of the sea reminds me of many childhood holidays in Cornwall.

My lovely furry companion Bill. Im so sure he understands my words and his eyes are so expressive. He's a true comedian and makes me smile most of the time. He has a habit of falling into water thats covered with duck weed (I expect he thinks its grass) and me and my partner have to fish him out!

I could go on, there are so many. But I'll leave it there.

Thank you for reminding me of these lovely thoughts Zenwind.

BUA - Lil

His name is Solus, and he's this little bundle of fluff that likes to hide my keyring in my slippers?!
As soon as my parents get back off holiday and post me my USB lead for my camera i'll upload some photos.
He's so cute and the girls in my block go mad over fussing him.
And i'm on a ground floor room now so I can let him out when he is old enough to wander around in the fields and stuff.
