IN ALL HONESTY, HALF OF THESE GIRLS STATE THE TRUTH. AS I HAVE BEEN READING THIS FORUM, I HAPPEN TO PERSONALLY KNOW ALOT OF THESE GUYS. AS I'VE READ ABOUT WHAT HAS BEEN POSTED, IT AMAZES ME TO FIND OUT THAT ALOT OF THIS IS TRUE.YES, THESE GUYS CHEAT ON THEIR G/F AND WIVES. TRUST ME I KNOW FIRST-HAND... I HAVE WITNESSED A HOCKEY PLAYER SAY GOODBYE TO HIS LONG-TIME G/F AFTER VISITING WITH HER FOR A WEEK AND THE MOMENT SHE LEAVES...HE INVITES SOME WHORE OVER TO HANG OUT AND FUCK. IT WAS SAD TO SEE HOW LOW THIS GUY COULD BE, BECAUSE I REALLY THOUGHT HIS G/F WAS A SWEETHEART--- BEAUTIFUL, SMART,KIND AND PROBABLY INNOCENT. I WANTED TO CALL HER ON THE PHONE AND TELL HER WHAT HE DID, BUT I REALIZED IT WAS NOT MY PLACE...IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN HIS.EVEN THOUGH I HAD A GOOD RELATIONSHIP W/ MY AHL BOYFRIEND I ENDED UP LEAVING. IT FINALLY OCCURED TO ME THAT I WAS SURROUNDED BY TOO MANY PEOPLE THAT LACKED RESPECT AND HAD NO VALUES. THIS ENVIRONMENT WAS NOT FOR ME.. I WAS DROWNING IN A POOL OF ASSHOLES. I FEEL THAT IN ORDER TO LIVE AN HONEST,RESPECTABLE, GOOD LIFE, YOU HAVE TO SURROUND YOURSELF AROUND HONEST, RESPECTABLE, GOOD PEOPLE. AND IN THIS ENVIRONMENT IT IS EXTREMELY RARE.MANY OF THE HOCKEY PLAYERS NEVER GROW UP THEY JUST GET BETTER AT LYING AND CHEATING. TRIAL AND ERROR..THEY LEARN HOW TO GET AWAY WITH IT!
MY ADVICE TO ANYONE SERIOUSLY DATING A HOCKEY PLAYER---REALLY THINK ABOUT IT. IT CAN SERIOUSLY FUCK WITH YOUR HEAD. YOU END UP CHANGING...FOR THE WORSE.
