This is the link to the American Folklore Theater in Ephraim, WI which is holding a celebration of Dan's music through the end of October. If you scroll down, there are two reviews posted at the bottom. Wish I could go; not only does it look like a wonderful evening, it's my old stomping grounds, having grown up north of Milwaukee. We used to go to Door County to pick cherries every year.

I was about to post the same message, Mary. You were a step ahead of me.

My husband and I both enjoyed the tribute very much.

Thanks for the link to the reviews, Mary. I was curious as to what their show would be like. It sounds really enjoyable from the reviews. I like that they talked about Dan in between songs.

Diney, I'd love to hear more about the show if you have any more to share. Glad to know you enjoyed it. I followed the link to Claudia Russell's site and listened to a couple of her tunes. She sounded pretty good. Good guitar playing and I liked her voice. Couldn't get Scott Wakefield's songs to play. Wanted to hear his singing voice. One of the reviews said he sounded a little like Dan. What did you think? How'd they do with Dan's songs? Also curious about the audience.....did it feel like a Dan crowd?

I am not a reviewer and really do not like to give my opinions on these things. I believe the newspaper reviews speak for themselves.

As I stated before, my husband and I both enjoyed the tribute show.

Did it feel like a Dan crowd? No. It was more like folks enjoying a weekend in Door County, and looking for entertainment in the evening; not necessarily FogelFans.

I understand, Diney. I'm not good at writing reviews either. Thanks anyway. The show sounds like a great way to introduce new folks to Dan's music.
