..and I'm caught in YouTube again as fog rolls in and out, not unlike how it happens in Maine. This time I'm in the Soundstage clips.

I have to guess that Dan performed "Hard to Say" in all the eighteen concerts I attended. What he did those times he does in this video ~ that percussive mute with one finger on the 12th fret; ~ such an integral part of the song. It's a tiny detail that puts him right in front of me doing it live. In 30+ years, I've yet to figure out why I see it that way every time.

In any case, here's the link. It's so great to see them all together and smiling at Dan's comment. I'll bet they never knew what to expect out of his mouth. Neither did we.

His comments were always a high point at the concerts. At least we still have Jeans comments when you posts new pictures...always something to look forward to.
