I am very saddened by the passing of Dan Fogelberg. I had really hoped that he would make a full recovery from his illness, but at least now he does not have to suffer. I feel that I have lost a member of my family. I was blessed with seeing him perform live on many occasions. Dan's music forged it's way into my own heart and soul many years ago when I first heard the "Souvenirs" LP. As a young musician and music enthusiast my rock-n-roll mentality got softened and tamed by this man's passionate artistry. His music lead me down many paths that I would never have follwed without his inspiration. Dan was a rare breed of muscian, songwriter, singer and entertainer. His diversified music interests and talents built a legacy of musical art that will stand the test of time. Although I feel that his life was cut short, Dan Fogelberg will remain my number one musical inspiration.

God bless you Dan and may your spiritual journey continue along the road of peace and tranquility in the unviverse!
