I guess it's not all that surprising that the past few years would have taken a toll on Jean's physical health, but I must admit I hadn't thought about that as much as I'd thought of her mental and spiritual grief. But obviously, one effects the other. I certainly hope she continues to feel better in every way. So very happy to hear that the CD is in the final stages! I know these things take time, but I was starting to worry that the project had been put off, or worse, abandoned. You never know with the music business, especially these days. It also sounds like an official tribute concert is still on. Glad to hear that, but I also hope there are plans to film it for release as a DVD. It was a pleasant surprise to hear that Jean is putting together a book of Dan's artwork and writings. Definitely something else to look forward to, along with the mention of more "exciting projects in the planning stages". I hope there is a possibilty of more music in at least one of those projects, but regardless, thanks to Jean for these sweet gifts. She continues to bring us closer to her and Dan, in the only way that we can be, and I am forever grateful. The sorrow would be much heavier, if not for her. So, thank you once again, Jean, for the thoughtful messages and the wonderful gifts you share with us. Thank you for making all of Dan's fans feel appreciated and included, and for all of your efforts to nurture, preserve, and share Dan's legacy. I wish you good health and love. And may God bless and comfort you. Who better to walk the path with than the people who loved him? She has so generously and warmly embraced us. I wonder if my first reaction to something new will ever be anything but tears. It's not about it being good or bad. It's just because it's about him. Excellent choice of lyrics at the end of your post, Kelly. Excellent.
