Yes, I enjoyed it too! I missed a few parts, but I got to hear most of it. Since I didn�t see any of Dan�s shows this early in his career, it was really fun to hear this. Never saw him in a small club like that either, which made it kinda casual and unpredictable. He definitely sounded young, not the seasoned performer we�ve gotten used to. I�m figuring he was about 23 � still young and wild (like most of us back then).

The beginning of the show felt a little awkward, probably because I had never heard that first song before. Once he started talking, then did Stars and Next Time, I was starting to feel the vibe for that place in time. He ended the show nicely, with To The Morning. Though his vocals weren�t as perfect as usual, he played it beautifully, as always.

Some of his comments between songs were funny � "You like Bluegrass? Well, we don�t do any". Then he goes into Morning Sky. I think his best line though, was before he played Changing Horses. He said something like "This song deals with the metaphysical absurdities of....something....I don�t know". Then he has some trouble with his guitar and says "this song deals with the metaphysical absurdities of changing guitars in the middle of a show". Always the comedian.

I would definitely say his live performances got better with age, but I wouldn't want to have missed this little slice of musical history. It was definitely a good time.
