Dan, I don't normally do alot of posting on actors boards. I usually go to some of the main soap sites, talk about the shows and that kind of stuff. I was in shock when I heard the news. Let us know who we should write, is it better to send a letter or an email. I think you have done an outstanding job with what the writers have given you. Really you never got the S/Ls. But you were great with the storys they gave you. Especially Kevin and Kellys break up and Duke's death. I was in tears watching. I knew then that you would be up for an emmy next year. I hope I am right about that, you deserve it!I have also seen you add humor to Kevin and you do that well too. All though they don't let you do much of that. As far as I am concerned I don't put any faith into the ratings garbage. People watch soapnet, they have tivo and dvrs. And some people still use the dusty old vhs. Most people are gone in the day, but they tape their shows. I am sure Y&R and B&B are good shows. I have even watched Y&R on soapnet to figure out why they are always up so high. Its good, but not as good as what their rating show. They have a small cast and I find it boring. So I took my own poll. Asked people if they watched soaps, if they said yes I asked which ones. Never once did someone name a CBS soap. GH came in at 1 and OLTL beat AMC and came in 2nd. Teens come home from school and catch the last 30 minutes of OLTL and then GH. Thats how I got hooked. I have been a viewer for years. If you go over to soap central and look at their boards, they have one for each soap. The ABC boards always have more people in them. Days is building back up. But I just don't understand who these people are that have the boxes on their tvs. I don't belive they are in the majority. I am almost tempted to request a box so they can count what I am watching. Maybe all the OLTL fans should. Maybe that is what certain fan bases are doing. I am very upset over this. I like the cast OLTL has now, there is no need to make changes, they need to be using the talent they have. But I don't care how many envelopes I have to stuff I will do it. Like I said I am coming out of the woodwork her, I normally don't do this. But if it will help keep one of my favorite actors on the show I am more than willing. Thank goodness for the people who give us scoops and spoilers. Or it would have been a total shock to me and I would never have had the chance to do something about it. We aren't going down without a fight!
