As head of Dan's Official Fan Club I feel it necessary to step up and dispute a few things you have said in your post.
First and foremost Dan has said absolutely nothing about his release until tonight which I just posted on his site.
I was the one, as his FC president, that posted the original information based on what was told to me by Dan. And it was facts not whining, complaining or otherwise.
I am the one, as head of his Official Fan Club, who started the Fan Campaign and Dan's many, many fans and fans of OLTL itself jumped into the campaign to support Dan. We felt that Dan had been done an injustice in being let go from his role and are hoping that TPTB will re-consider since Dan has brought the role of Kevin to new life and Kevin is such an intricate part of the show.
At no time did Dan instigate any campaign nor did he complain, whine or otherwise regarding his release, and as you can read in his statement he is very gracious and thankful.
I hope that you can re-think your negative thoughts regarding Dan's reaction to his release and I am sure he is thankful to you for your best wishes.
