The soap magazines are reporting that the official reason Dan was let go was due to lack of story and budget cuts.....
Are these people at OLTL really serious??.....you dont have to be a "Soap Writer" to see that there are endless story possibilites for Kevin and the solution to the budget cuts is simply to lose deadweight characters such as Claudia, Paige and Layla among others and keep the much needed Kevin.
It seems blatantly obvious to us that the reason Dan and Kevin are being "sacrificed" is to make way for Ms.Higley's "New Buchanans" Spencer and Hugh but she would be wise to
squash that idea for it will never work....She needs to pay
attention to what the viewers really want which is simply
to keep the Buchanans they already know and love including Kevin and the best actor to ever portray him,Dan Gauthier.
