It is difficult to state how sad it is to say goodbye to Dan/Kevin. Without bashing the writers, it is fair to say they have not written the character of Kevin as being a very endearing character. That is not to say that Dan didn't play Kevin well and in a way that we still care about Kevin and want him on the screen. I think keeping the core characters of Llandview is important for the show and those of us who have followed it since day one. At least Kevin is only leaving town and can return when the writers decide to write an endearing character for us to love. Lets just hope that Dan will be available, but then that would mean that we wouldn't be seeing him soon on another soap. I met Dan at Super Soap a couple of years ago, and love the actor, he is so friendly and sweet. I look forward to seeing you soon on other shows. You will be missed Dan.
